Project Description

The intent for this project is to design a flexible ultrasound transducer that will fit to the contours of a forearm. It will be designed to be small and have a flex circuit to run most of the powering of this device. This device will be used to get 2D images of the muscles, using a pulser receiver to get information from array of elements in the transducer. This project will utilize PVDF material as the piezoelectric material to propagate the sound waves through the medium. This is designed for decent imaging quality, to be implemented later on in prosthetic devices.
